Make a Bee Waterer and Hydrate the Pollinators!

Can you imagine the work that one bee does in a day? Bees are extremely hard-working, and they tend to 2.000 flowers a day at the minimum. Their small wings beat 10,000 times a minute carrying pollen and they are an immense help for our food supply.

It does sound exhausting, and bees get thirsty and they need to drink water from safe water resources, and those type of resources are not always available.

Bees drink shallow water. However, this type of water evaporates really quickly. Moreover, birdbaths aren’t an ideal option since bees are likely to drown in case the water is too deep. When it comes to lakes and rivers, bees put their lives at risk in the presence of frogs, fishes and other wildlife, and also are at risk of being swept away by the currents.

If you want to help and hydrate bees, you need to make a water feeder. You can do this by putting marbles in a pan and then water in it. The bees can land on the marbles and can drink water. In this way, bees are safe from drowning!
