Borax contains boron, which is fatal to insects like fleas, ants, beetles, silverfish and cockroaches. What you need to do is apply some borax around your home or prepare an insect bait paste by combining corn syrup, honey and borax.

7. Rust Remover

Mixing two parts cornmeal and one part borax will help you create beautiful dried flowers. Just put some of the mixture in a container, put the fresh flowers in it, and use the rest of the mixture to gently cover it. Then, store it somewhere dry and cool for two weeks.

15. Homemade Candle Wicks

If you want your wicks to last longer, decrease smoke and ash, bath heavy twine in a mixture of one cup of boiling water, one tablespoon of salt, and two tablespoons of borax. Leave it soak for 24 hours. The wicks need to dry for 2 weeks before using them.
