If You Rub These 2 Points Behind Your Knees, This Is What Happens To Your Body

One of the most common problems we experience as we get older is joint and back pain. This happens because as time passes by our joints and back become stiff and the cartilage that connects the joints starts to wear off, causing pain and discomfort. Many people resort to pain medications, creams and ointments in an effort to ease the pain but sometimes the answer lies in a more natural approach.

Acupressure.com, recommends acupressure which is “an ancient healing art using the fingers to gradually press key healing points, which stimulate the body’s natural self-curative abilities.”

The Melbourne College of Professional Therapists says that acupressure originated with the ancient Chinese and can help in increasing circulation, increasing deep relaxation and relieving muscle stiffness.If-You-Rub-These-2-Points-Behind-Your-Knees-This-Is-What-Happens-To-Your-Body-Video

Which acupressure points can help in alleviating joint pain and back stiffness?

According to Michael Reed from Acupressure.com, GB34 and ST36 are the points you need to press to resolve this problem.

How do these points work?

Modern Reflexology, says that GB34 “is placed on the side of the leg, right below the knee, slightly in front of the tip of the outer leg bone.” Natural Herbal Remedies says that ST36 can be found four finger lengths below the kneecap and one finger width to the outside of the leg. In order to relieve the pain and discomfort you need to rub these two points every day.

According to Modern Reflexology the GB34 point can also help you relieve nausea, vomiting, sciatic pain, hip pain, and jaundice.

Natural Herbal Remedies, on the other hand, suggest pressing the ST36 if you want to tone your muscles or if you experience problems with digestion, fatigue and menstrual cramps.

Is there something else you can do to relieve stiffness?

National Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Association, suggest that in addition to acupressure, you need to sleep in a warm place to rejuvenate your muscles and take hot shower to relax tight muscles and increase the flow of blood.
Here’s a video which will teach you how to perform this routine at home:
